Dr. Cyril Wecht's 1975 Statement

I bought this book when it came out in 1976. When I went to MBA school in 1978, I gave away all of my JFK assassination books except for two: this book and Sylvia Meagher's Accessories After the Fact.

Wecht writes: " ... I must emphasize that I have never myself advocated that President Kennedy was shot from the Grassy Knoll or similar forward locations, so that this statement in no way represents a change from my previous views."

We all know that Cyril Wecht eventually changed his views on the fatal head shot. But, he never explained why he changed his mind. As I have shown in previous blog posts, Wecht freely talks about his 1972 examination of the autopsy materials, but leaves out the above conclusion.
