Journalist Matt Taibbi was a guest on Tucker Carlson's show, and stupid conspiracy theories came forward.
Here is a transcript of this segment:
Tucker Carlson: Frank Church, sadly, got incredibly fast-developing cancer. I noticed.
Matt Taibbi: Did he?
Tucker Carlson: Yes, he did. He did. Kind of like Jack Ruby-style cancer. Hugo Chavez-style cancer. It's interesting.
Matt Taibbi: Huh! I did not know that.
Tucker Carlson: Yeah, they couldn't treat it. He died. Sad. Um, sorry.
Matt Taibbi: No, it's alright. Look, it's hard not to think -- I never thought this way until ... like, a year ago.
Tucker Carlson: No, I did not think this way. I attacked anyone who did.
Matt Taibbi: Right.
Frank Church died of cancer three years after leaving the U. S. Senate. He had cancer in the late 1940s and underwent successful surgery. He was also a diabetic.
Why would the CIA kill Church after his probe was finished and after he left the Senate.
Taibbi and Carlson admit that they never thought this way. Yes, they have turned into conspiracy mongers and I think we will be seeing a lot more of this.
Carlson and Taibbi think that Tulsi Gabbard is going to uncover all sorts of conspiracies if she gets confirmed as head of National Intelligence:
Here is a transcript of this segment:
Tucker Carlson: The lengths to which permanent Washington is going to say, sabotage Tulsi Gabbard, who is an army officer, who's had a clearance for more than a decade, carries an automatic weapon. I mean, clearly we trust her with America's defense; why can't we trust her with America's secrets? Of course, we can. So, what is this? And it really is is that people are panicked that, what they have been doing, is going to come to light, I think.
Matt Taibbi: Well, they should be panicked, because if you read the Executive Order on the weaponization of government, it specifically empowers the Director of National Intelligence to conduct a wide-ranging report into the possible misdeeds of the entire intelligence community. And orders her to come up with anything negative they can find.
Tucker Carlson: Holy Shit!
Matt Taibbi: Can you imagine?
Tucker Carlson: No! No!
Matt Taibbi: That's like trying to make a list of everything.
Tucker Carlson: Laughs!
Matt Taibbi: She'll be doing it from now till the end of time.
Of course, Gabbard will find all sorts of stuff. But as we have blogged in the past, Gabbard is a conspiracy theorist who thinks Oliver Stone writes good history. Here is a short video why she is completely unqualified for the job:
