The Chicago 'Plot' Won't Go Away

This is quite the embarrassing essay. Right off the top, Drago writes that "my primary source is "The Plot to Kill JFK by Edwin Black, as published in "The Chicago Independent" of November, 1975."
In fact, Black's article is the ONLY source for the supposed plot and his information came from only one source -- Abraham Bolden. There is not one piece of corroborative evidence to sustain the allegation. Nothing. Not one witness, not one document, nothing.
And what I find funny is that Black claims that the plot was so big that Secret Service agents from around the country had to be called in to help the investigation. And yet not one Secret Service agent has said there was such a plot. Not one.

Joined the United States Marine Corps in the mid-1950s.
Was assigned to a U-2 base, Camp Otsu, in Japan.
Home in the States, was assigned to recruit and train anti-Castro guerrillas for a return to Cuba, where they will assassinate The Beard.
Held extreme conservative military views.
Owned an M-1 Rifle.
Gained employment in a warehouse building overlooking the presidential motorcade route.
But Camp Otsu was not a U-2 base when Vallee was stationed there. There is absolutely no evidence that Vallee was "assigned to recruit and train anti-Castro guerillas." He did hold conservative views and he didn't like JFK. But that describes millions of people.
As for his employment, he was actually off work on the day that JFK was supposed to visit Chicago.
As I have written before it is interesting that a landlady called the authorites about Vallee and a landlady also supposedly called authorities about the hit team. Conflation, anybody?
Drago ends his article by claiming that "To my knowledge, challenges neither to my Doppelganger Gambit nor my Chicago plot hypotheses — nor, for that matter, any challenges to the stale, conventional interpretations of these matters — has been forthcoming."
I'll send this blog post to the AARC and see if I get a reply.
I won't hold my breath.
By the way, Vince Palamara tried hard to resuscitate the Chicago plot, but failed.
