Was Jim Garrison Mentally Ill?

I've already posted Garrison's psychiatric reports from 1951. Here is a memo that Aaron Kohn, head of the Metropolitan Crime Commission of New Orleans, wrote about Garrison's mental state.

By the way, the Metropolitan Crime Commission was a private organization formed in 1952 to investigate corruption within the New Orleans Police Department. You can read more about their history here.

Kohn would eventually appeal to the State Government to have Garrison removed. I'll be posting several more Aaron Kohn memos. Stay tuned.

Was Jim Garrison mentally ill? I am going to take a pass on that. However, anyone who does psychological profiles on both Lyndon Johnson and his pal FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover (two people Garrison insisted were covering up the JFK assassination) are in for a field day for psychological dysfunction, megalomania and an full throttle unhinged so-called "private" sex lives. In the case of Hoover, he was the classic sadistic closeted homosexual who delighted in using sexual blackmail over any of the congressmen whose could give him oversight. As for LBJ, here is my essay on "The Scary Mental Instabilities of Lyndon Johnson:"
